Then God commanded, “Let there be light” – and light appeared.  God was pleased with what he saw.  (Genesis 1:3) To me, initiative of “Light Bangladesh” is also a command from God with a mission to lighting many lives for those who are living under darkness specially the children and women in this country.

Greetings in our creator’s name.  It is a great privilege, honour and opportunity for me to be the Chairman of Light Bangladesh (LB) through a executive committee meeting which was held on 23 January 2009 at LB office in Khulna. Since then, we are all have been looking for many opportunities to meet and interact with our stakeholders, including beneficiaries, Government personnel, development partners, civil society members, Church and social leaders, NGO workers, journalists and other stakeholders.
